This meeting is for anesthesiologists, anesthesiologist assistants, nurses, residents/fellows, medical students, and other members of the health care team.
About This Meeting
The purpose of this activity is to identify advocacy issues that are adversely facing the physician anesthesiologist and how that impacts their clinical practice. Provide practical solutions for organizations and individuals to aid in overcoming the adversities. Provide ideas for future planning.
Objectives
At the end of this activity participants should be able to:
• Define comprehensive professional citizenship.
• Describe the scope and limitations of POCUS.
• Apply diagnostic POCUS protocols in practice.
• Utilize POCUS to improve clinical decision-making in perioperative situations.
• Discuss how a free market impacts healthcare pricing and quality of care.
